| Just as automobile
insurance protects you from unexpected expenses caused by accidents, a

Company Profile
UWC, as part of the original Universal Companies of
Omaha, Nebraska was incorporated in 1982 to act as an administrator of
vehicle service contracts. Members of the Motors Insurance Group began
underwriting segments of UWC's business in 1999. On June 15, 2000, UWC
became part of the Motors Insurance Group, and its vehicle service
contracts are now exclusively insured by MIC General Insurance
Corporation and Motors Insurance Corporation (collectively "MIC").
As a pioneer in vehicle service contract business, MIC has been
involved in insuring vehicle service contract programs since 1972 and
continues to demonstrate solid operating performance and strong
capitalization. For UWC, its new status within the Motors Insurance
Group provides the financial strength and long-term stability that is
often lacking in the independent third party market.
UWC provides products and services tailored to the unique needs of
franchised and independent dealerships. UWC currently offers its
products through hundreds of dealers across the United States and has
serviced our customers in over 6,000 dealerships across North America.
UWC's commitment to the industry is further evidenced by the tenure
of our administrative and claims support staff, which has an average of
over 15 years experience. Our claim adjustment staff alone has an
average of over 19 years of auto industry experience.
